Dr Morello serves and the perioperative medical director at CJRI as well as the medical director of the Pre-operative Assessment and Screening Center (PASS) at St Francis hospital. In this role, she supervises a clinic that provides patient optimization prior to joint replacement or neurosurgical procedures

Dr. Morello has a special interest in regional anesthesia as well as pre-operative patient optimization.

Personal Interests
When not at work, Dr. Morello enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 children, and german sheperd. She especially enjoys time at the beach or on the ski slopes!

Why did you decide to become a physician?
I chose the field of anesthesiology because it allows me to have an immediate and lasting impact on patient’s lives. Running a pre-operative clinic allows me to ensure that patient’s have a smooth peri-operative course and lays the groundwork for the best possible outcome after surgery.
