Anesthesiology Nurses Training
Nurse anesthetists are essential to the collaborative care team model. At Woodland Anesthesiology Associates, attending anesthesiologists work hand-in-hand with highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s) to administer top rated anesthesia care.
We are proud to offer a unique opportunity to students, from three great nationally recognized institutions, to gain firsthand experience at our top-rated teaching hospitals.
As an integral part of the Fairfield University, Quinnipaic University and Yale New Haven Hospital Schools of Nurse Anesthesia, student nurses rotate through our various departments during their three years of training. This incorporates the following rotations:
- Cardiac Anesthesia
- Thoracic/Vascular Anesthesia
- Ambulatory and Regional Anesthesia
- Acute and Chronic Pain
- Neuro/Spine Anesthesia
- Orthopedic Anesthesia
- Obstetric Anesthesia
